Now No Negative Marking for Medical Entrance Examination Tests

Medical Entrance Examination Test
A wonderful surprise for students, The BJP-led state government has decided to cancel the Negative Marking system in the Medical Entrance Examination from this year for the assistances of students.
Vinod Tawde, the education minister, informed the state
legislative assembly in Nagpur on Thursday that they had decided to remove the negative marking system from the medical entrance test examination from 2015.

The entrance test is conducted after the class XII exams. The state has also decided to appeal in the Supreme Court, asking to "withdraw" Maharashtra from the national medical exams.
"Due to participation in the national entrance test, we are losing 300 medical seats that is more enough by consideration. We have to keep 300 seats for students of other states because we are a part of the national medical test. On the other hand, from our state, hardly 25-30 students are going out of our state to take the medical admission to other colleges. Once we withdrew ourselves, then we will get back 300 more seats for our students," said Tawde and that’s a good honor for educational communities.
The MH-CET is a Common Entrance Examination for admission to all health science courses. The MH-CET exam is conducted in multiple choice questions format wherein each question carries 4 marks. Physics paper carries 180 marks, Chemistry 180 and Biology 360. There is negative marking in MH-CET. One mark per question is deducted for wrong answers. One mark is deducted for marking two or more answers of same question, scratching or overwriting.
